MTNA is pleased to announce that the Yamaha Corporation of America, Orchestral Strings Department, will sponsor the MTNA String Performance Competitions. Yamaha provided a $1,000 award for the winner of the junior string competition in Kansas City in March 2004 and plans to continue its support of the string competitions in the future.
