Eastern Division.(Division News)(Brief Article)
The members of the Eastern Division extend their sincere thanks to Debra Ronning, NCTM, Eastern Division immediate past-president, for her gracious leadership these past two years, and congratulate her on being elected to the MTNA Board of Directors. It is a privilege to follow in her footsteps.
This month's column continues the tradition of featuring an Eastern Division state as we hear from Pennsylvania President James Douthit.
In collaboration with Jacobs Music of Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania MTA (PMTA) launched its first Keystone State Piano Competitions in the fall of 2003, with competitions for college, senior high and junior high students that included more than forty entrants.
