Ohio Music Teachers Association (OMTA) has received $1,000 from the Royal American Conservatory Examinations. The amount represents a donation to OMTA of $5 for each student who participated in the RACE exams in May 2004.

"We are honored to be the first state to adopt this groundbreaking syllabus and assessment program," said OMTA President Amy Rose Immerman. "The support of Ohio teachers and students in this first year has been amazing."
