1. Jeff Gordon. In the 10 Cup races at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Gordon has three wins and six top five finishes. That record and his performance this season at Pocono and New Hampshire make him the man to beat.

2. Matt Kenseth. He has been a strong Brickyard contender the past two years. The Robert Yates/Roush horsepower under his hood could be the difference.
