CHILDREN at one of Omagh's most deprived housing estates enjoyed a barbecue party to mark the end of their summer activities project yesterday.

Ken Shiels, project manager of Lisanelly Youth Project, said the estate had moved on in terms of tackling its problems and social deprivation.

"They have been to the cinema, play parks and the experience has been really good for confidence and personal development," he said.
