The head of the Transitional Islamic State of Afghanistan, Hamed Karzai, had a meeting with nationwide representatives of the mojahedin at Golkhana Palace today. At the meeting, Engineer Mehdi, Ustad Abdorrahman and Haji Nesar spoke on behalf of the others and voiced support for the Afghan government's programmes and policy. They stressed the nation's participation in the presidential and parliamentary elections and said they would cooperate in this.

They said the Afghan nation has made many sacrifices and fought communism and international terrorism over the past 25 years and it has attained great achievements. …
