"SHE'S pregnant. What now?"
That was the problem of Gary Valenciano, who was then 19, his girlfriend, colegiala-model and Music and Magic singer Angeli Pangilinan, and their entertainment directors just weeks before Gary V's first major concert almost 20 years ago.
Having a family could have ruined Gary's matinee-idol packaging, but he and Angeli took the plunge and had the baby.
"Family is the priority," Angeli, who is also Gary V's manager now, is saying. "Sure, there were times when we wanted to call it quits, but hey, here we are."
Today is a grand day for the Valenciano family. Gary, the country's most famous diabetic, turns 40, and husband and wife mark their 20th wedding anniversary. This …
