PRAGUE/TEL AVIV, Aug 1 (CTK) - The explosion in Prague which occurred today is part of a wide-scaled settling of accounts in the Israeli underworld, the Israeli military radio said today.
According to the station, Israeli owner of the Prague's Casino Royal Assaf Abutbul was the target of the attack but he escaped unharmed.
Security Information Service (BIS) spokesman Jan Subrt told CTK today that the civilian counter-intelligence was informed about the attack, but its investigation was so far fully in the hands of the police. The BIS has established contact with the police and is prepared to immediately cooperate with them, he said.
Assaf's father Felix was murdered in Prague by contract killers two years ago near the entrance to the casino. Assaf then started to take over his father's business.
Abutbul's lawyers told the Israeli press that their client "had no enemies" and that he was in Prague due to his "economic activities of various kinds."
The Czech police have not yet closed the case of the murder, its investigator told CTK today.
