SEOUL, Aug. 2 Asia Pulse - A government-backed research group will begin operations on Tuesday aimed at promoting nanotechnology as one of the new industrial initiatives expected to lead South Korean economic growth in the future, the association said Sunday.
The Nanotechnology Research Association, approved by the government in January, will build a network of nanotechnology researchers in various academic fields such as physics, chemistry, electronics, materials and mechanics, it said.
