Lithium carbonate, a drug normally prescribed to treat symptoms of manic-depression, also may reduce the fiery, aggressive behavior often exhibited by children with conduct disorder, according to a study supported in part by NIMH and presented at the 1991 annual meeting of the American Psychiatric Association.
