Budapest, August 1 (MTI) - Minister for Sports Ferenc Gyurcsany, who on Sunday told MTI he had offered his resignation to Prime Minister Peter Medgyessy, earlier attended a send-off ceremony for Hungarian athletes competing at the Athens Olympics in the Tata (W Hungary) training camp together with Medgyessy.
The prime minister's office has not as yet commented on Gyurcsany's offer to resign, while no explanation has so far been given.
