Washington, July 28 (PTI) Indian-American Ash Jain has been appointed Special Assistant in the US State Department's Bureau of Arms Control to work on regional and strategic security issues dealing primarily with South Asia and the Middle East. Ash will serve as a Special Assistant in the Bureau headed by Assistant Secretary Stephen Rademaker, Indian American Republican Council (IARC) Chairman R Vijayanagar said in a statement. "In this capacity, he will work on regional and strategic security issues dealing primarily with South Asia, East Asia and the Middle East," he said.
