Talented singers have voiced their support for school pupils by raising more than GBP300 to enable them to sit exams.
Beverley Male Voice Choir (BMVC) held a concert along with the choir from Hull's Fifth Avenue Primary School to raise much-needed funds.
Youngsters at the school have to shell out at least GBP30 a time to enter official grade music exams, and school funds cannot cover all entries.
Headteacher Elizabeth Wilson, who is also BMVC's musical director, came up with the idea of launching a fund to pay for the exam fees.
