Crowley Museum and Nature Center is offering free admission for children under 12 Sat., Aug. 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Limit four children per family.

The museum is at 16405 Myakka Road and includes 190 acres of land adjacent to the Myakka River, nature trails through five native Florida habitats, a 2,000-foot boardwalk through the swamp and marsh, and an observation tower. For information, call 322-1000.
