Jakarta, July 22 (ANTARA) - The Attorney General's Office (AGO)recently issued an order to stop the investigation of Syamsul Nursalim, one of seven private bankers suspected of trying to dodge their obligation to repay the huge sums of Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance (BLBI) funds or bail-out credits they had received during the monetary crisis in 1997, a spoeksman said.

"The stop-investigation order (SP3) was issued last July 15 after we received a letter from the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (BPPN) stating Syamsul had paid his debts," Sudono Iswahyudi, a junior prosecutor at the special crimes …
