Top Gear's Winter Olympics special proved a ratings winner for BBC2 last night, attracting more than 5 million viewers.
The motoring-on-ice extravaganza is one of several Winter Olympics-themed special editions of regular BBC shows commissioned to tie in with the event, which began on Friday night and attracted healthy audiences to BBC2 all weekend.
Top Gear Winter Olympics featured Jeremy Clarkson and crew attempting various daft cars-on-ice stunts, including sending a rocket-propelled Mini down a ski jump, car ice hockey, and Clarkson racing a speed skater in a new Jaguar XK.
