MANATEE COUNTY

Harold R. Andersen

The Rev. Harold R. Ander-sen, 84, Bradenton, died Jan. 28, 2006.

He was born Sept. 19, 1921, in Norwood, Mass., and came to Bradenton in 1987 from Pawtucket, R.I. He was an ordained American Baptist minister and a member of Oneco United Methodist Church and Sons of Norway. He earned bachelor's degrees from Wentworth Institute and Gordon College and a master of divinity degree from Andover Newton Theological Seminary. He was a member of the Boy Scouts and was an Eagle Scout.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Elsie Christine; sons Richard W. of Warwick, N.Y., and Roger of Bradenton; a brother, Arnold of Sarasota; and a grandchild.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Feb. 13 at Oneco United Methodist Church. The Good Earth Crematory, Bradenton, is in charge.
