Stewart & Stevenson LLC Announces Changes in Corporate Officers; Gary W. Stratulate Named President & Chief Operating Officer; John B. Simmons to Serve as Vice Chairman & CEO.
HOUSTON, Feb. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Stewart & Stevenson LLC announced today that it has named Gary W. Stratulate President & Chief Operating Officer. John B. Simmons will continue to serve as Chief Executive Officer of the Company and will hold the additional position of Vice Chairman.
The Company previously announced the completion of the purchase of substantially all of the assets of Stewart & Stevenson Services, Inc., excluding its Tactical Vehicles Division and certain other discontinued businesses. The purchase, which includes the use in perpetuity of the Stewart & Stevenson brand name representing a history of over 100 years, provides Stewart & Stevenson LLC with 47 offices and facilities in the United States and abroad with estimated revenues of $750 million in the year 2006.
