SEOUL, Jan 31 Asia Pulse - South Korea plans to spend 1.54 trillion won (US$1.59 billion) this year to create 527,000 jobs, the country's Budget Ministry said Monday.

The planned spending is up 10.2 per cent from last year's expenditure, according to the ministry.
