Yesterday, Antonio Brufau, the chairman of leading Spanish petrochemicals group Repsol YPF, warned leading Spanish electricity group Endesa and its chairman, Manuel Pizarro, not to persist with their opposition to the planned takeover of Endesa by leading Spanish gas group Gas Natural.
