The German cartel office expects the current dispute regarding the ban on long-term gas supply contracts to be settled quickly. E.ON Ruhrgas, the largest gas company in Germany, has lodged a complaint against the ban imposed by the cartel office; the provincial high court of Dusseldorf will initially deal with the case, after which it will probably be referred to the federal supreme court.
