I was wondering if anyone knows who is responsible for the upkeep of Damerel's Field in Whitleigh (near the youth club). The field used to be an open space for the use of the community, but last year was taken over, I think by Sir John Hunt School. Many members of the public objected to the field being taken over, but we were told it would be a good thing for the community.

The field is now fenced in and padlocked - to keep 'the community' out! A path giving the public access to the woods has never been …
