Argyle manager Tony Pulis has certainly done his homework on Southampton.
Not only did Pulis see Saints draw 0-0 with Crystal Palace at St Mary's Stadium last Wednesday, he witnessed their last-gasp 1-0 win at Leicester City in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday.
That game saw defender Jim Brennan and midfielder Darren Potter make their debuts for Southampton.
Brennan, a 27-year-old Canadian international, was signed on a free transfer from Norwich City.
Potter, a Republic of Ireland under-21 international, has arrived on loan from European champions Liverpool until the end of the season.
