Centex Homes just opened what it is billing as a one-of-a-kind, high technology sales center for its massive The Woodlands project in North Port.

The center, at 2807 Sycamore St. in North Port, just off Toledo Blade Road near Interstate 75, is for the master-planned community and its five neighborhoods.

Of those, Cypress Falls and Cedar Grove are already open for sales.

The center is a freestanding modular operation with lush landscaping, hardwood floors, large-scale photos and high-end electronics. There are three information galleries with a topographical table in each.
