Financial woes forced the Women's Review of Books to suspend publication in December, 2004. But thanks to a new deal, it's back in business.
Its format has changed, but its the mission "to review books by and of interest to women" remains the same, according to editor Amy Hoffman. She worked out an arrangement with the Wellesley Centers for Women, which is the magazine's institutional sponsor, and Old City Publishing to revive the publication.
