THE giveaway Budget has given Fianna Fail a substantial political boost, a new opinion poll shows.

But voters remain deadlocked in their choice of the next Government.

Fianna Fail and the PDs get a combined 40pc - exactly the same as the potential Fine Gael/Labour partnership.

That leaves the Greens, on 4pc, potentially holding the balance.

But there is no doubting the financial measures in the December Budget have had a hugely beneficial effect on Fianna Fail's fortunes.
