Spotted seatrout are beginning to return to Sarasota Bay after the population was decimated for 2005's brutal red tide.

They're not in great numbers, but there are a few being caught. And the incidence of catches are on the increase weekly.

The areas north and south of Sarasota Bay weren't affected.

The accompanying map is designed to help readers find out what fish are hitting where.
