The State University College at Brockport wants to hire more diversely by ignoring what candidates look like.
It will launch its experiment in faculty diversity with its presidential fellows program, hiring two fellows for 2006 and two more for 2007, each for two years. According to its ads, Brockport is looking for people whose academic interests of teaching would broaden its curriculum.
