Greenpeace Australia Pacific released earlier this week the draft agenda for the meeting of the Asia-Pacific Climate Partnership being conducted today and tomorrow in Sydney, which the organization says confirms that "science-based solutions to climate change have been excluded from discussions in favor of coal industry interests." The participating countries include Australia, the U.S., China, Japan, India and South Korea.

According to Greenpeace, the agenda reveals that the majority of the meeting will be dedicated to talks between fossil fuel dominated business groups and governments, with Australia's Commonwealth Scientific and Research Organization (CSIRO), the…
