THIS MONTH Britain's Conservatives will finally choose a replacement for outgoing party leader Michael Howard. Whether or not David Cameron or David Davis inherits the crown, one thing is guaranteed: the new Tory leader, like his two short-lived predecessors, will be a strong supporter of the Blair government's decision to invade Iraq. But the fact that the Tories are in line for yet another pro-war leader tells only half the story.
