IT'S a New Year so let's start with a clean slate.
Here are a few things I want to see the back of in 2006 as far as telly goes:
1.Dumb-arse phone-in questions on TV shows so the greedy bastards who run the channels can make even more money out of us.
2.The ITV/BBC dull-asditchwater news hour between six and seven on weeknights.
There is not an hour of news worth sticking on the box every day - and there certainly isn't half an hour's worth of local news, as the piss-poor offerings we endure five nights a week indicate. Last Thursday night the news was just 15 minutes.
