You walk into a play of light and colors at the La Boheme Fine Art gallery in Coral Gables, which is exhibiting the work of Colombian artist Fernando Davila until Nov. 30. You leave with a sense of satisfaction that there are people who can interpret the subtleties of life's passions in such a delicate way.

Davila, who moved to Miami in 2002, opened his exhibition "Luz de Luna" on Nov. 9, where he presents 20 of his most recent works of art. His use of quiet and subdued coloring accented by light magically appearing from unknown directions, undeniably demonstrates his mastery of the paintbrush. More amazing is the fact that Davila is colorblind. He manages to interpret what he cannot see and this is truly fascinating to behold.
