PIRACY off the East African coast has continued to cause concern over the past month with a number of incidents reported by the International Maritime Bureau. While attacks in Somalian waters come as little surprise, given the wealth of coverage the region has received in recent months, two attacks in Tanzanian waters and one off the coast of Kenya illustrate that the problem of marine piracy on Africa's east coast extends beyond Somalia.
