INDONESIA'S PKT SEES FERTILIZER PRODUCTION HIT RECORD HIGH.
JAKARTA, Jan 2 Asia Pulse - State fertilizer producer PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur (PKT) said its fertilizer production has reached 2.665 million tons - it's highest since PKT was founded 28 years ago, the company`s executive said.
"It is the highest production of fertilizer in the company`s history," Omay K Wiraatmadja, president director of PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur, said in Bontang, East Kalimantan, on Saturday.
According to him, the company has achieved 99.7 pct of its 2005 production target.
Apart from fertilizer, it also produced 1.866 million tons of ammonia in 2005.
