ISLAMABAD, Jan 2 Asia Pulse - Norwegian telco Telenor has officially opened its GSM mobile network for commercial service in 26 more destinations, including Pakistan.
This new addition has taken Telenor's total score to 200 destinations nationwide.
Officially launching Telenor's service in Dear Ghazi Khan, city of Punjab, on December 29 Awais Ahmed Khan Laghari, Federal Minister for Information Technology appreciated Telenor's rapid pace of network expansion and said: "Telenor's launch in D.G. Khan is a testament to the positive steps taken by the Government to promote investments in Telecom sector in order to achieve greater tele-density in Pakistan.
