(BNamericas.com) - Bolivia's new government will return ulexite mining concessions in the Salar de Uyuni salt flat to the state as part of president-elect Evo Morales' resources administration policies, local newspaper El Diario reported.
Recuperating the ulexite resources is a priority for the region, the report quoted Potosi department senator-elect Santos Ramirez as saying.
The country's current government granted the concessions earlier this year after the issue of a supreme decree which, Ramirez said, must be repealed because it goes against the best interests of Bolivia, according ...
