You might assume that any new freezer will keep your food frozen. But we found three that failed this basic test.
Two of the three models that failed our tests, because they reached temperatures well above 0[degrees] F, were made by Haier. A Chinese manufacturer, Haler has become a major player in the freezer business in recent years. It is now the leading supplier of compact-sized freezers sold under its own name and some under the Amana, Kenmore, GE, and Maytag brands.
