Frida Giannini is perched on a couch at Gucci accessories headquarters in Florence, acting out the departure of Tom Ford through the eyes of her fashion-loving grandmother. "To be honest, she was not so happy. She was one of the biggest fans of Tom Ford. She really loved him and couldn't accept that he was gay. I would argue with her, 'No, I know he's gay,' and she'd say, 'Don't tell me! He's too beautiful!' So she was crying a lot when he left."
