South Central Division.(Music Teachers National Association, services, meetings)(Brief Article)
MTNA South Central Division had an excellent meeting at the 2005 Summit for MTNA Leadership. State presidents and presidents-elect brought encouraging reports. MTNA Board Director Karen Harrington, NCTM, shared information from the summer board meeting and introduced the director and directors-elect candidates.
The 2006 Arkansas State MTA state conference will be held June 2-3 at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. Lauren Clark, NCTM, and J.D. Kelly, NCTM, are the local liaisons. Deepest sympathy is expressed to ASMTA President Peggy Lewis for the loss of her husband.
