MTNA in the news.(Association News; Music Teachers National Association)(Brief Article)
MTNA President Paul Stewart, NCTM, was interviewed for the October 2005 issue of Real Simple magazine. In the article, Stewart offers suggestions to adults interested in taking piano lessons. The interview was part of a larger article about starting various activities, including buying artwork, starting a business and inventing a product. Real Simple has a circulation of more than 1.8 million readers.
MTNA Executive Director Gary Ingle was featured in the November 2005 issue of Associations Now in an interview about MTNA's Collegiate Chapters program. In the interview, Ingle discussed the importance of the chapters and the role they play in MTNA's strategic plans for the future. Associations Now is a new monthly flagship magazine for association leaders. It reaches more than 23,000 association professionals.
