Judith Lang Zaimont is the winner of the 2005 Jabez Press Composition Invitational. Her winning composition, A Calendar Set: Twelve Preludes for Piano Solo, will be published by Jabez Press and was premiered at the 2005 World Piano Pedagogy Conference in Anaheim, California, in October.

Compositions were solicited from more than 50 established composers and were evaluated on compositional sophistication, appeal to advanced pianists and concertgoers, and marketability.
