Three UK-based charities focusing on a range of issues from mental illness to HIV care will benefit from The Big Lottery Fund's latest International grants. The projects will share a total of GBP1,650,634 for their work in India, Nepal and South Africa.

The latest announcement takes the total of projects funded under the International programme to 717, sharing a total of GBP179.5 million.

Sir Clive Booth, Chair of the Big Lottery Fund, said: "The Big Lottery Fund aims to help as wide a range of people as possible and our International awards programme means we can help those in need, not just in the UK, but across the world.
