Dec. 16--Mona Gue was getting ready for an evening event at her children's school on Wednesday when her neighbors started to scream. She rushed outside her white-tiled Little Haiti apartment to find her son Stacheck lying in the street. The 6-year-old had been hit by a passing Chevrolet Blazer and thrown 12 feet in the air, crashing to the asphalt on his head, witnesses said.
