Dec. 16--Even in the dark times when the lifeless, unimaginative offense or his own inconsistent performance were like clouds blocking the sun, Chris Chambers would occasionally step into the light. Those were fleeting moments of clarity for the Dolphins receiver, but they promised something better. They promised consistency and productivity and promotion to a higher level of play. They promised days like . . . like today.
Chambers has delivered on that promise the past three games, piling up catches and yards like he never has -- indeed, like no Miami pass catcher has during the same span. Finally.
