Central Freight Lines returns tire dealers' loyalty

Any tire dealer doing business with Lee Butler, tire supervisor for Central Freight Lines of Waco, Texas, has to fill a tall order.

"We tell them that right up front," states Butler. "We buy tires on national account. Our dealers must store our tires and ship them as needed. They must keep abreast of the changes in the tire industry.

"Our tire dealers must have the latest information on DOT codes and regulations. They must keep up-to-date on their products. And, if their tire suppliers see a problem developing in a certain tire, they need to tell us about it."
