One criminal tried to make a Wal-Mart store into a one-stop crime central. On October 14 in Statesboro, Georgia, a man attacked a woman and her granddaughter in the bathroom of a Wal-Mart.
At 6:22 p.m. in a bathroom, 25-year-old Stephen Hall used a stun gun to attack an unidentified woman carrying her two-year-old grandchild. Hall then tried to force the woman into a bathroom stall and threatened her with a knife.
During the attack, the granddaughter was knocked from the woman's hands, but the girl wasn't injured. The woman began screaming for help, whereupon other customers and employees came to her aid. The woman's rescuers couldn't, however, subdue the attacker because he threatened them with his stun gun and pepper sprayed anyone who got close ...
