DRINKERS are more likely to have their tipples spiked with extra alcohol than any other drug, according to research.
It is estimated that at least 54 per cent of drink spiking rape victims are drugged by extra alcohol put in their drinks, according to the Roofie Foundation which combats the problem.
The revelations coincide with seasonal warnings issued by the Safer Leeds community safety partnership to guard against falling victim to spiking.
