The American Ceramic Circle (ACC) promotes scholarship and research in the history, use, and preservation of ceramics. The ACC offers awards up to five thousand dollars to individuals for expenses associated with travel and photography in preparing scholarly papers based on original research in the history of ceramics. Grant recipients are required to offer completed papers for publication in the American Ceramic Circle Journal and may be invited to speak at an annual symposium. The next deadline for applications is April 1, 2006.
