(BNamericas.com) - Mexico's energy ministry and the World Bank (WB) plan to work jointly to promote renewable energy projects in Mexico through 2030, an energy ministry statement quoted WB representative Anna Wellenstein as saying. Wellenstein spoke at an event in Mexico City on Wednesday during which the energy ministry presented a document on the outlook for renewable energy sources in Mexico, the statement said.

WB and the energy ministry plan jointly to promote projects such as the green fund for clean energy projects, rural electrification and carbon credits.
