In yet another case of a clever plan gone awry, three criminals who tried to rob a pawn store in Croyden, Pennsylvania, on August 24 got nabbed.
The robbery was supposed to happen like this: Vitaly Liberman would enter the pawn shop posing as a customer and use a ruse to draw the workers out of their bulletproof booth; then he would use his cell phone to contact his accomplices, Walter Leon and Pedrita Moreta, so that they could barge into the store with guns drawn and rob the place. It only happened partially that way.
